In Las Vegas GameWorks in the Showcase Mall is the ultimate arcade for kids and adults alike. Hotel arcades include: Bally's, Circus Circus, Excalibur, The Forum Shops, Hard Rock Hotel, Luxor, MGM Grand, Monte Carlo, New York - New York, The Orleans, Sahara and Stratosphere. A local ordinance prohibits children under the age of 18-years from being in an arcade after 10pm on weekdays or midnight on Friday and Saturday unless accompanied by an adult.

Experience the look and feel of the Old West. Featuring a small petting zoo, old fashioned melodrama, and vintage store to browse; take Charleston Boulevard west past the Red Rocks Canyon area to Blue Diamond.
Lake Mead Recreational Area - 702-293-8906
Lake Mead is the largest man-made body of water in the United States; and boasts more than 550 miles of shoreline. The lake is a major recreational attraction offering boating, swimming, water skiing, jet skiing and fishing. There are several Marina developments offering boat rentals, sightseeing cruises, boat launching and supplies. Fishing licenses are required and are available at the Marinas. Lake Mead is located 20 miles southeast of Las Vegas; take U.S. Highway 95 South and follow the signs.
Mount Charleston - 702-872-5500
Enjoy a leisurely drive up to into the high country in the Toiyabe National Forest; picnic facilities, hiking trails, and a lodge completes the beautiful Forest environment. Temperatures are generally about 30 degrees cooler than Las Vegas. During the winter months enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Lee Canyon. Located 36 miles north of Las Vegas; take US Highway 95 North.
Red Rock Canyon - 702-363-1921
Magnificent formations of colored sandstone make Red Rock Canyon Conservation area a favorite among hikers, cyclist and rock climbers. It is also a beautiful and enjoyable daytime excursion just to see the sights. The Red Rocks Visitors Center is open daily from 8am to 5pm. The Scenic Loop is open from 7am to dusk; a $5 fee is charge for each vehicle making the 13 mile scenic drive. Take Charleston Boulevard west for 20 miles.
Spring Mountain Ranch State Park - 702-875-4141
The Wilson Cliffs can be found at this historic spot where travelers on the Mormon and Spanish trails once rested. Tours of the Spring Mountain Ranch and other historic areas are FREE. The Park is open daily from 8am until sunset; the visitor's fee is $5 per car. Take Charleston Boulevard west past the Red Rock Canyon scenic drive and follow the signs.
